The Concept
The solution focuses on delivering a digital tourist experience with the use of AI to improve the quality of sightseeing by offering travellers rich information, location based and customized recommendations and/or services using an image recognition app, which will enable tourists to share their travel discoveries and experiences.
The app offers travellers the opportunity to take a picture of any monument, building, bridge, modern art, church, or statue in Denmark and recognizes it, in order to provide the tourist with information of the attraction. 
When taking a picture the app provides information related to the history of the attraction such as when it was built, who made it, how it was used, fun facts and where the reader can find out more about the attraction. 
The users can buy related souvenirs online or from nearby shops which are recommended by the app. The app would be used by travellers to discover and explore attractions in Denmark, as well as by collaborators interested in self-promotion such as VisitDenmark, Trust Pilot and any online and physical souvenir, book-store.
